We love connecting and believe that everyone has a part to play. We have volunteer opportunities in all areas of Macquarie Care, some regular and others periodically. The right volunteer fit is important, helping you connect your skills and interests with the program that best suits you.
Occasional Volunteering
Packing Christmas Hampers
Once a year in about November, a team of volunteers gives a day of their time to meet together and pack donated goods into hampers for Christmas. These hampers are given to women who find themselves in a refuge over the Christmas period and include food, personal hygiene products and luxury items. You can also donate towards these hampers by dropping goods to Macquarie Life Church from October each year.
