Macquarie School Chaplaincy Program
Macquarie Care have partnered with Macquarie Life Church as a funding recipient for the National School Chaplaincy Program since 2006. We have over 20 chaplains in schools across the Hunter Region, and our team are ready to serve your school.
WHAT IS THE SCHOOL CHAPLAINCY PROGRAM?
Government Funding is available to all Australian Schools for the appointment of a chaplain to support the social, emotional, moral and spiritual wellbeing of students. |
WHAT IS A SCHOOL CHAPLAIN?
A Chaplain is a person who offers care and acceptance to students, staff and parents, regardless of race, gender, cultural, or worldview. They listen, support, work through life issues, and assist in times of crisis. |
HOW WILL IT BENEFIT YOUR SCHOOL?
A school chaplain will work alongside and compliment your other support systems and programs within the school. They are available to participate in school activities and can provide support to staff students and parents. |
School chaplains can make a big difference to the welfare of the school community and we encourage all local schools to take part in the government program.
